  • Black Love Fest is a one-day celebration to share the work initiated by The Black School with the community. BLF also includes music performances, art installations by professional artists, our student’s art exhibitions, hands-on art making workshops, plus much more. The purpose of this project is to demonstrate a radical vision for the future centered on Black Love.

  • Black Love Fest will be on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at Hunter’s Field (1659 N. Claiborne New Orleans, LA 70116) from 1-6pm

  • Yes, there will be bag checks at the door.

    • Weapons

    • Outside food & alcohol

    • Coolers & Ice Chests

  • Cooler or ice chest are prohibited.

  • Yes, you can bring your chair.

    • Guests must be at least 21 years of age and provide a government-issued photo ID to purchase and consume alcohol at Black Love Fest which is identified via wristband. We reserve the right to deny service as we see fit.

    • Alcohol will be served at the festival at 2 separate bars.

    • Presale Tickets until August: $15

    • General admission: $20

  • Children under 12 are free. Children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible party at all times.

  • Street parking is available.

    • Cash & square card reader tap payment will be accepted at the door

    • Vendors will have their own payment methods

  • TBS General Information desk will have a Lost & Found.

  • Yes, with the exception of lightning and severe weather conditions.

  • Yes, there is reentry into the festival with an authorized stamp and wristband.
